Boyles Ministry Newsletter

April 2008

Dear friends and family,

I cannot believe it is time to write another newsletter.  The last month has passed by very quickly.

Please see our Photo Gallery for Updated Pictures!

The construction of the dining hall at the new camp is now finished.  Ustaquio Pop, pastor of Silver Creek Baptist Church and several other men worked on the bay leaf roof.  It was amazing to watch them weaving the leaf onto the sticks.  They did a beautiful job.  We have held two meetings in the building already.

The well at the new property was dug this month also!  We have water!  Not only that, but they reached good water at 40 feet.  This is remarkable!   We now have power and water.  God is working through people to get this project done.

This month we were able to go to a Maya festival.  It was a weekend celebration of the Maya culture.  It was very interesting to see and we took some fascinating pictures.  There was a greasy pig contest, marimba playing, traditional dress contests, and many booths set up to show their culture.  It was a fun experience.

We had the opportunity to attend the annual Equip 2008 Pastor’s and Wives Conference by Joe Arms.  We thoroughly enjoyed this conference again this year.  This conference is sponsored by a church out of Texas.  The conference was held at The Las Palmas Hotel in Corozal.  The pastors and their wives received their room, meals, and a stipend for gas.  Joe and partner Tim Ellis focused on God driven ministry, marriage and family, and youth ministry.  It was a time of great fellowship for the pastors and missionaries from all over the country.

Please remember us in your prayers.  Several of our ministries will be coming to a close during the next two months.  We will begin making arrangements to move home in August.  This is a very exciting time.  We have missed everyone very much.  It is also a difficult time.  It will not be easy leaving our ministries and relationships here in Belize.

In Christ,

Jeff, Tiffany, and Ann Marie
